Bitboy Ben Armstrong’s Wild Ride: Arrested Mid-Livestream as Lambo Saga Takes an Unexpected Turn

Last Updated on September 26, 2023 by The Crypto Dweeb

It has been a very tumultuous month for the popular Crypto Influencer.

Crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, formerly known for his work on the Bitboy Crypto YouTube channel, was apprehended last night by Gwinnett County police while live streaming outside the residence of his former business partner, Carlos Diaz, whom he claims possesses his Lamborghini.

Following the arrest, Armstrong took to Twitter this morning to confirm the incident, revealing that he spent a total of eight hours in custody.

This development comes just a month after Armstrong’s departure from HIT Network, the company that owned the Bitboy Crypto brand, which he played a significant role in establishing. Additionally, it occurred less than a week after a failed attempt to regain ownership of the company’s namesake.

Prior to the arrest, Armstrong had hinted on Twitter that he would be broadcasting from a “special location.” This location turned out to be the home of Carlos Diaz, a crypto investor and consultant whom Armstrong alleges has ties to HIT Network.

During the livestream on YouTube, Armstrong made various allegations against Diaz, claiming that he posed a threat to his life and suggesting connections with organized crime. He also expressed ongoing concerns for his personal safety.

Approximately 19 minutes into the livestream, local authorities arrived at the scene to question Armstrong. In the course of their interaction, they asked if he was carrying any weapons. Armstrong confirmed that he did not possess any on his person but mentioned that there was one in the backseat of his car.

While being subjected to a pat-down search, Armstrong was questioned about the presence of anyone else in the vehicle. Initially hesitant, he eventually admitted that a woman he had been having an affair with named Cassie was in the back.

The Ouster of Ben Armstrong from his Company

For those unaware, all this drama stems from the decision made on August 29th, 2023 when BitBoy Crypto made a surprising announcement, revealing that they have officially severed ties with prominent crypto figure Ben Armstrong.

The decision was made by BJ Investment Holdings, the parent company of Hit Network, under which BitBoy Crypto operates. Taking decisive legal action, the company addressed allegations of emotional, physical, and financial harm caused to employees and the BitBoy Crypto community. The removal of Armstrong has sparked mixed reactions within the crypto community, with his ongoing legal battles and defiant attitude adding fuel to the fire.

As a result of this decision, both parties have brought lawsuits against one another. In fact, Bitboy even started a fund to help him raise money for his legal fees from the crypto community.

Needless to say, this saga surely will continue for the months to come.
